Ahahaha chinchilla face just found a pair of my roommates earrings. I'm sitting on the chair watching TV with Lemur running around on me and the chair. I glance over as she makes several frantic jumps from the back of the chair to my shoulder and back, and notice there was something in her mouth. The roommate had evidently left a pair of hoop earrings, hooked together, on the back of the chair. And Lemur found them and was running around holding them. Luckily she let go when I grabbed them from her.

She's now in her cage again because after that Lex got a little to frisky with the trying to get her and managed hit her hard enough to make her squeak. I liked it better when he was so afraid of her he ran away when she moved towards him.

Lemur has evidently decided that the hammock is good for more than just hiding under. Right before I took the photo she was laying on her back in it, it was hillarious.

So it took two pet stores to find the right food for the degus. My bank account probably wishes I would have found it at the first one. $250 later I'm now the proud owner of a chinchilla named Lemur. The roommate came up with the name but I couldn't get her to go halfses with me.

edit: it's funny the roommate seems to be checking up on Lemur more than I am. I've gotten fur balls often enough to know that checking on them every couple minutes isn't going to help them settle in. Lemur seems to be doing well, has been investigating and everything. The roommate keeps talking about getting her a friend in a month or two. I told her that's fine if she's buying the friend. It's probably a good thing all my bills are paid for the month.

I always forget how much I hate the end of the second Pretender movie. I want the third movie. Or the script to be leaked, or like a novelization of the script if they never make the third one. Ugh, I must know the answers to all the secrets. Will Jarod and Miss. Parker ever hook up? Or are they actually siblings? Will Mr. Lyle ever not be creepy and turned on by his twin trying to kill/hurt him? What do the scrolls say? Will the Center finally meet its doom? Will Mr. Raines ever really die?

In other news one more day of work, then two days of freedom. \o/

Need to remember to turn on the fan before leaving for work so the roommate doesn't bitch at me again. I didn't today, or barely thought of it as I ran out the door. Evidently it was 80 something in the house when the roommate got home and the dog was panting, it was terrible. She blames it of the fact he's black, which has little effect in a trailer that hardly ever has sunlight in it. It's much more likely caused by the dog being grossly over weight.

So fan on tomorrow.

So Lex has spent the better part of the evening trying to kill Sass. So me and Lex are staying in my room for awhile in hopes that Sass comes out of hiding in the computer room.

This whole thing is leaving me and roommate less than impressed.

So I watched Mr. Brooks with the roommate. Um...I don't think I liked it. But I'm not sure because I'm kind of confussed by it.

In other news the kitten is on real thin ice. I pulled the couch away from the wall today I found like 4 cat messed, at least. Then like 15 min. ago the roommate caught him pissing back there again. So yeah, if he doesn't watch it, he's going to be finding himself a new home, because frankly we are getting sick of having to scrub the carpet every week or two.

Today I had a customer who's name was Spencer Smith. I'm sure there are a couple people on the ol' flist who will understand why that made me giggle.

Other than that work was slow and a little boring. I learned how to do the x files, which is stuff that has to be sent back to someone. And I verified oil for one of the tire/oil changers. Which really just means I went in the garage and looked at the dip stick and went yep, theres oil in the car.

I think I'm going to update my icons. And possibly make new ones.

The kitten spent the day locked in my room again. And as soon as I opened the door he ran out. But then like 2 seconds later he came right back in. You'd think the 7ish hours he'd spent in here would have been enough for one day.

My Friday project involves finding a better purple dye for my hair, since I'm much more pink/blond/brown than purple now.

A day or 12 ago I posted that I never did anything fun any more and that I'd never been to a concert. I have been to a concert, sort of. I went to a battle of the bands at the Palladium in Worcester Ma. my freshman year of college.

In other concert news Dee, the full time cashier at work, realized today she hasn't been to a concert this year, and as our music tastes run much closer then me and the roommates do we have decided to try and find a concert to go to soon. Which doesn't excuse the roommate from being dragged to a 30StM concert at some point, it just excuses her from anythings I might decided to go see, unless Dee can't go.

It's so cute all the animals are hiding out in my room. The dog is under my desk. One of the cats in laying next to him and the other cat is stretched out on my bed.

Animals are so funny. There is a thunder storm right now. Sass is under the roommates chair in the living room, Brody is hiding under my desk. Lex, well Lex is asleep on the love seat, seemingly unconcerned with all the noise.

The kitten is so funny. His favorite toy at the moment is a 2 inch paint brush he found somewhere. He hauls it around and bats at it, and in general is very funny.
