Well that was not the kind of surprise I needed to find before bed

So mom washed sheets today. And hung them outside to dry. I wish she'd thought to shake them off. I just found a rather large spider on my sheets. And am now a little creeped out about sleeping in my bed for fear of there being more spiders that will crawl on me while I sleep.

I know this is silly, and I don't care. I did however catch the spider and put it outside. But still big spider crawling all over my sheets. Gah.

Sometimes Navy boy is very good at telling me whats going on, sometimes, not so much. Haven't heard from him since Thur. which yes I know wasn't that long ago. The issue with this being is that he was supposed to be getting a long weekend for the 4th and the last time I talked to him he still wasn't really sure he was getting it so he couldn't tell me when he'd be up here. And frankly I miss him and I'd like to know if I may actually get to see him soon. Sometimes boys are very annoying.

Okay Navy boy is still alive. He'll be up tomorrow and Monday. So I'll actually get to see him at some point. He hopped on-line for about two seconds to tell me this before he ran out the door, why he couldn't have e-mail or called earlier is beyond me. But yay get's to see him tomorrow.

Not that any of you out there really care, but thats okay I'll share anyways.

And then 5 hours after it went out the power came back on. Okay I was only home for an hour of it. But still yay power again. And I was on my cell phone for most of it. I had no idea how much longer it was going to be out so I just called Navy boy and talked to him for awhile while listening to the race on my battery powered radio.

Work was work today. Slow for awhile and then quite busy right up until the end, and then we got to go home early. Not a lot early, but just a little. Without me having to pick up any where. And I got a box the right size to pack books in, it was going to be thrown out so I rescued it.

edit: also my brother is home. I don't think I've seen him since he was home for christmas. He's got some sort of an attempted beard thing going on for some reason. Nice to see him though, and the friend he brought home with him seems nice.
