psghayleaux: a cat sleeping on top of a cat tree (weeee)
Amazingly the snow is still around. It's melting, and if you look on the deck you can see the water working its way up the snow. And last night it was falling off the roof very loudly keeping me awake.

It's oddly light in my room because its reflecting off the snow.

I have french vanilla tea. It was my incentive to myself to crawl out of bed this morning. I can hear the degus in the other room fighting over food, and kicking it out of the dish. So annoying.

Mom almost didn't get the wood stove going this morning, when I checked on it, it was burning, but only just. Wow lots of comas in there.

And Robin just tried to jump in my lap, only she feel off again after digging her claws into my leg. Ow stupid cat. She's now trying to act like it didn't happen.

note to self: you know how you can't drink milk on an empty stomach? This evidently extends to things with milk in them as well.
psghayleaux: a cat sleeping on top of a cat tree (degus)
The degus can be quite amusing at times. Alexander always tries to get out if you open the cage. The male baby tries it sometimes. And is much easier to catch. The female baby is tricky to catch sometimes. I usually don't bother Hephaestion cause she freaks out so much. Any who if I can get the babies out they crawl all over and have fun. Putting them back in the cage is the trick. I open the door and Alexander climbs out, then babies will go in, but then they will both try and climb out again. So there I am trying to close the door with three degus clinging to it and trying to climb over the top edge as it goes up. The babies only do that after they've been out. Otherwise if they do climb on the door they don't climb out on to me and tend to run back in if I move towards them. I'm going to miss the baby that goes, and Alexander even with all his faults. Probably going to let mom's friend have them as class room pets. [livejournal.com profile] annikasevn hasn't gotten back to me about if the pet store she sells to would want them or not.
psghayleaux: a cat sleeping on top of a cat tree (confused)
I love having to much spare time. I just scanned in a picture of a coral reef from a calender, blew the image up, cut it into pieces, printed it out, taped it back together and attached it to my fish tank. The fish are a little confused but I just around the house giggling to myself at their reaction to it.

Also question for people the radio station I listen to says they are the only one playing Jesus of Suburbia, I'm not sure if they mean the only one at all, the only one who's playing to full song or if they are full of shit, so if you listen to the right type of radio station to hear Green Day is it the song played?

Interesting development on Invasion. I just wish I could get more into the show. It just doesn't hold my attention.

Also watch a sitcom, Freddie, I never watched sitcoms. This one was actual amusing. Possibly because it was the Halloween episode. But the main character and his best friend pretend they were gay to get out of trouble. And that made me laugh a lot, well that and the best friend dressed up to go to Rocky Horror.

In other news my grandmother is getting better. There isn't a blockage in her heart like they thought for awhile, tomorrow she's either getting a new pacemaker or the one she's got is getting fixed. Hopefully it goes well.

Big news, someone was surfing on the Penobscot river, and thats probably really miss spelled. But still, surfing on a river? A dangerous looking river at that, water levels are really high right now.
