Today I have just a small family gathering with the boyfriend's family to attend. Counting the nephews there are 7 of us. And the boys are old enough that the noise level shouldn't be too bad. Although I'm sure Ferengi!nephew will attack us as soon as we walk through the door because he can't wait to open presents. (Calling him a Ferengi started with his mom, because of how he wants all the things in relation to video games and video game systems. He used to visit me regularly until he got told he had to visit and not play with auntie and uncles video games, that didn't go over well so no more visits.)
I've opened my presents from my Dad and his wife that they mailed to me. She did better than normal no ugly leggings or scarves in sight. I got some rainbow socks a mug with photos of me and my dad and of her and dad and a very tasteful silver and black scarf. (The last scarf she gave me was teal and pink and I still have it because I don't hate anyone enough to give it to them.) Dad sent me and 85 piece professional grade toolset. Which I love. And actually asked for.
The boyfriend got me Let's Go Pikachu! for the switch. I haven't actually opened it yet, maybe today I will while he's over doing farm chores. We have a lot of video games and systems all hooked to one TV so we have to share.
Speaking of video games, I accidently spent all day yesterday playing Stardew Valley. I did get the laundry done, but that was all I accomplished. Oops?
