Oh look chance of snow the next two days. This is why I grew up think winter started in October not December. I remember trick-or-treating in a snow storm once.

And one year, I remember opening Christmas presents wearing shorts and a t-shirt, and flip-flops.

Then next year, we had ice and snow on the ground.

Ah, Texas. There's a reason we say "Don't bother getting used to the weather, give it five minutes and it'll change."

Of course, there are some years I don't ever think we even get winter. But we sure as hell get a summer.

were as in Maine its more of a dear god will there ever be summer? like this year it rained and was cold almost all summer.

Although my first year of college it was 70 on Dec. 1rst. I was in NH and south of home though. And like two days later we got 4 inches of snow.

In maine the saying 'If you don't like the weather wait 5 minutes.' And sometime we change it to drive 5 miles because really that's all it takes, go over the next hill and the weather will be completely different.

Welcome to the north east? Although it's probably a lot more common in Maine than NJ.
