The little blurbs on the back of my SeaQuest DVDs have me a little confused. Because the last episode listed for the season is not the one I remember. The one were they are on a different planet fighting aliens. I thought that was the end of season two. Thus leading into the stupidity of the last season being 10 years in the future.

Er... That was the last ep of season 2. Wasn't it? Now you have me confused. I just watched the season opener for season 3 on Netflix, and it was the (really poorly written) conclusion/loophole tie-up to that episode.

But it's been years since I actively watched SeaQuest (back when it was still firstrun. What years was it even firstrun? Dear god, was I still in middle school o_O) so I'm probably just easily confused. But yeah, point being, I'm pretty sure you're right and the last ep was the alien planet one.

So long as I'm not the only one who thinks that. Other than episodes here and there on SciFi I haven't seen it since it was on originally. (I was in like 6th grade o_O)

But the back of the box it does not mesh with my aliens. It says it's about someone Piccolo used to be friends with faking a medical condition to escape from prision. Which doesn't sound like aliens to me.

I want my stupid fighting with aliens on other planets oh god we're all dead episode. *pouts*

edit: okay so I totally just looked it up on IMDB and the episode last on the DVD's is listed as second to last on there so maybe for some stupid reason they put them wrong and like the second to last one is the one with aliens, thus making it very confusing. Actually reading the blurb for it it does use the word siege, which means that the DVD packaging people are stupid.

I looked it up on IMDB really quick, and from the way they have the seasons on there it looks like the "season finale" for the second season was actually aired the following season, a week before the opener for 2032. So... perhaps the finale we remember (and is listed as the finale on imdb) is, for whatever reason, included on the season 3 boxset? Though, the first season 3 ep on Netflix was the conclusion so... I haven't a clue.

Yeah, I think I must have been in 6th or 7th grade as well *headdesk* freaky. I've tried to rewatch the show once or twice in the last couple years, but I can never seem to pull off more than one episode. Honestly, I had a massive crush on Lucas when I was a kid, and when Jonathan Brandis killed himself a couple years back I was so upset when I found out that I haven't really been able to watch the show without feeling depressed and freaking out just a little.

I looked myself and the episode listed last on the DVD is listed second to last on the DVD's so I think maybe I'll just watch them in the wrong order so that it is less likely to confuse.

I had a crush on Lucas too. I think everyone I know who watched the did actually. I had a hard time watching it after Jonathan Brandis killed himself. Like if I think about it I get all sad and mopey and can't watch the show. So I just have to not think about it in order to enjoy a cheesey show that was one of my best childhood memories.
