Only sometimes do I want to kill them. Like today.

So like 10 min after the roommate left for work, at 6:30am, I heard a bang and went oh no. Got up and one of the rabbits had escaped again. Fortunately about the time I got out there she came running out of the roommates room, skidded across the kitchen floor and climbed back into her cage.

Then just now, I heard another bang, from far to close to my room. I go into the den and Lex had managed to pop the door to the degu cage open. *head desk* I know full well he'd eat them if he could, and as they aren't afraid of him, it could happen.

Meh.

Brings back memories, LOL! I had to resort to twister-ties from bread bags on my hamster's cage. He rivaled Houdini as an escape artist!

Oh I once had a hamster named Houdini. If the degus where the ones opening the cage, okay, but the cat? That's just not fair.

I love that you named your hamster Houdini. Since the cat's opening the cage, you might need a lot of twister ties. Smart cat....

Well the little bugger was an escape artist of the highest class. I probably will need to twist tie the cage though. Then again maybe the cat just got lucky and poked the door in just the right place.
