So I am getting a raise this year with my performance review. My boss was unsure about that where I just got a raise with my promotion. So as of whenever my raise goes into effect, I'll be making $4.03 more an hour than I was before the promotion.

I'm officially above the poverty level baby. And really need to stop buying stuff online. Just because I have money in the bank doesn't mean I need to spend it. I want to buy a house. So I should stop buying boots... and stuffed animals, and make-up.

In other news, my new 100$ combat boots showed up today. They are real leather, and have slip-resistant soles and are you know basically actually combat boots. My last pair were 25$ at most and all man-made materials. But I got 4 years out of them before the tread wore out. And yes combat boots are an essential part of my wardrobe. I should have picked up leather conditioner/waterproofer on my way home. Because I wants to wear the new boots. But the weather is such an unpredictable bitch right now that I should probably not wear them until I've done that. Actually, I've got leather care stuff for the seats in my car, think that would work on my boots?
