Guess we got lucky here. Towns on both side of me are without power and will be for the night, according to the news. The power flickered a couple times, and only once that you could notice. There is an alarm on moms computer's surge strip, that the only reason I know the power flickered more then once.

And the stupid degus chewed a hole in the water bottle again. *rips out hair in frustration*

I would if there was a pet store closer then 40 min to here. And Wal-mart doesn't sell them. I used to have metal hangers that would cover the part of the bottle they chew on, but mom threw them out or sold them or something.
