The degus still have no names. There is pudgy degu who freaks out at just about everything and runs on the wheel a lo, and missing part of an ear degu who likes to spaz out and run around the cage. Mom found out about them and took it much better then I thought she would. Her only comment was I didn't know you were planning on getting into animals like that again. Crises averted. Especially after me explaining that they were marked way down and probably would have ended up as snake food.

Also I have figured out its not that they smell its that the cage smells like guinea pigs. Which are very smelly. Need to hassle annikasevn about that 15 gallon tank she said I could use. It would give them a lot more room and not smell.

Work sucked today. I was alone in the department from 6 to 10, no door greeter or anything. Tomorrow night there will be someone else working with me. Unless I show up and they tell me to go home and not come back which they have done to someone else that used to work with me. If that happens I'm demanding 2.59$ to cover the gallon of gas I will have wasted driving there and home again for no reason.

I think kitty cat is jealous of the degus. She seems more intent then normal to occupy my lap at all times while I'm in my room. Although that could just be because it gives her a great view of the cage. Or it's because its getting colder so she's going into heat seeking mode, though mom said she was outside at like 6 this morning, and there is no way it was warmer then 60 this morning, it was in the 50's when I came home. My room is a comfortable 70 at the moment.

Well Sarah doesn't always change the cages often enough, so there is like caked on piggy pee stuck to the tank I have, and thats the smelliest part about them, so my room smells like it even though I washed the tank and she washed the tank before I got it.
