(no subject)

One of these days I need to remember to haul in more wood than just what I need for the night. Because it's freaking cold in here right now and I really don't feel like going outside to get more fire wood. And my step-dad never came over yesterday like he thought he was going to, which means he didn't look at the oil heat to see if it was something he could get going for me.

In other news the chinchillas woke me up ever two hours all night. This is not an exaggeration. I tried to go to sleep at 2, at 2:10 they got really noisy. Then again at 4:10, so on and so forth. Well the 8am wake up wasn't until almost 9 and then right after 9 they did it again. Needless to say I'm cold and tired. No cookies world.

Who needs New Year's to get all introspective?

I believe it was a year ago this weekend that I went to my first concert. In that year I've been to well a lot of concerts and become the merch girl for a band.

I've also gotten into a new fandom, made new friends, lost jobs, moved, changed my hair color, and become more myself than I've been in a very long time, if ever. It's sort of a good feeling.

Yeah I've been sort of down because of money and job hunting and possible homelessness. But I haven't cut myself, I haven't thought about killing myself. Me of a year ago probably would have. Okay so it's not like I'm all better. I mostly just sleep and try to work up the motivation to do even the simplest of tasks. I haven't even bothered to shower since like Thursday. Although that's partly due to the always cold in the house thing. And partly because I lack the motivation.
