Ugh what the hell is up with all the cold and rainy days lately? It makes motivation a thing that happens to other people. Which is bad because I sort of do really need to go to my mom's house. And finish that job application that's been sitting on the table since Sunday. I know I'll leave the house tomorrow. Although that'll be because I'm driving to Orono to see Soundbender and not for a reason that could be productive.

After finishing the season premiere of Heroes I have just one thing to say. Why for are you getting all plot twisty? Well it was always plot twisty, but it's getting worse, and in some cases in really stupid to me ways.

I think I'll leave the house now. Deposit my last paycheck. Go to mom's pick up my mail, that sort of stuff. Maybe I'll turn in the job application tomorrow.

I have decided that since the roommate is gone I know that no one will be painting the ceiling any time soon. So I decided to unpack the last of my stuff. Meaning my DVDs. Now at least half the living room looks lived in. Seeing all the DVDs put away in place makes me go wow I own a lot of movies. And TV shows for that matter. It makes my collection of PS2 games look pathetic.

I've even put my plants on top of the entertainment center. They add a nice touch of color. Well the green is a nice contrast with the color of the wall.

Bah Soundbender isn't on WCYY at 8 like their site says, they're actually on at 9. Now I have another hour to kill...my life so hard, I know.

Soundbender was all cute on the radio. Drew wasn't there again, and they were all we don't need him he messes up the name thing. The rest of the band has J names.

Tomorrow can't be soon enough. If for no other reason than that other than brief family interaction I've had no human contact in over a week. And even Gail I-don't-leave-the-house needs people occasionally.

You know what's a bad idea?

Deciding to marathon Nightstalker and then realizing you need to go out and get more fire wood. From the part of the house that's probably been standing since sometime in the 1800's and had at one point been living space but is now all ripped up and has no electricity. It is of all the house the part most likely to be haunted and frankly creepy enough with out adding to it by watching something like Nightstalker before going into it.

In other bad news ideas I'm using the wood stove even though I haven't been able to get it cleaned out all the way or get the seals replaced. Because the big electric heater for no apparent reason stopped working. It was working just fine, then I turned it off. Unplugged it and plugged it into the surge strip I have the TV and PS2 plugged into. I tried to turn it back on and nothing. I left it alone, tried it again. Nothing. I plugged it back into the wall, waited, tried again and still nothing. So yeah not impressed.
