I have to be up in 5 and one half hours. I am very very awake. This is not good. I wonder if they actually want me coherent and able to remember things at this stupid meeting?

Survived stupid pointless meeting at work. I got up at 5:53 and was back in bed by 7:50. And now it is snowing out, although it sounds like more than snow hitting the roof so it might be snow and freezing rain. Which is so not cool because I still have to drive back into Skowhegan to go to work this afternoon.

The only entertaining part of my whole way to early morning was the pickup I saw off the road, on its roof, in a field. There was a cop walking around so I'm not sure if it was really recent or something that happened last night and never got reported.

Okay so the freezing rain portion of the precipitation has picked up, I think it's officially slushing out now.

Hopefully I wont have to scrap yet more ice off my car. The windshield is really flat so my ice scrapper doesn't work well, the one the car dealership only works a little bit better.

I do not want to go to work, I've already been once today, isn't that enough?

In other news it is no longer slushing out, but there is melting so I'm a little worried the roads are going to be all ice when I come home tonight.

The rest of my day...

It was pretty busy at work. I didn't get freight done. But I was greatly entertained by a customer saying it was nice of them to let me be goth at work. Which was sort of like what? I don't think of myself as goth, or even of my look as goth. But I do have hair that looks blue and black in the lights at work. And black and gray dangley earrings, plus three silver hoops. But only a small amount of purple eyeliner. I'm pretty sure I've looked more 'goth' on other days with black eyeliner and slightly to pale foundation. I wonder is the skull and cross bone belt or flame shoes where part of his decision that I must be goth.

Other than that nothing fun at work. My drawer was off, but it was me, and it wasn't really off, something was just run through wrong.

And then on my drive home I had a really really bad allergy attack. I probably should have pulled over. Both my eyes were burning and stinging and watering so bad that I could hardly keep them open or see. Combine that with rain and fog and twisty roads and who knows how I didn't kill myself.

Am so glad I have tomorrow off. Even if I do have to be sociable with the family.

It's funny, 6 years ago I cut my hair off, dyed it green, and horrified the family on turkey day. I wonder if I'll get as good a reaction this year?
