Aug. 2nd, 2007 08:37 pmSurvived my first day at VIP. Go me. There is a ton of stuff to remember. Running a register there is much harder than at Wal-Mart. And checks are the worst tender. Okay everything but cash is really tricky. And I hope no one ever wants to use Canadian money, because that requires calling the bank.
But the manager is already looking forward to when I get the register learned, because then I'll be training on parts counter. He then said half jokingly that after that they'd train me to changed tires and oil. His expression when I told him I already knew how was great.
So I'll be back there on Sat. training with my
annikasevn. That'll be fun. And also means I'll have two days there on my next pay check as they go Sun. to Sat. Wal-Mart does Sat. to Fri.
I'm going to be dead by then because it'll have been over a week since my last day off, but Thur. I'll be one happy camper. My Wal-Mart check will be bigger than normal because I'm working 37 hours this week, and then I'll also get paid for about 14 hours at VIP. So I'll actually have some money that wont have to be spent right then, so I'll have a some back up for the up coming tight stretch.
