The roommate just said it was time for sleep mode. So I poked her. And she pretended to go to sleep. Clearly we are dorks in need of sleep.

Okay so I'm thinking I'm not rescuing my stuff today. We got something like 14 inches of snow, and that's just since I shoveled the path last night when I got home. We already had a couple inches at that point.

Before unearthing the cars I think I will take a picture. It's no surprise that my car has turned into a snow banking, but the roommate's Jeep is pretty well buried too. As soon as her uncle is done cleaning out the end of the driveway again I probably will.

The roads don't look to bad, but I'm not sure I'm going to feel up to an 8 or 9 hour drive after digging the car out of the snow.

Stupid weather. Doesn't it know I've got things to do today that require good weather? Frankly I didn't think snow would be an issue this time of year. Sure we sometimes gets a little snow in April, but not over a foot.

edit: Okay now someone is snow blowing the path for us, I thought we just got plowed out, maybe the across the road neighbor is helping too. Am not about to go investigate, am still in my PJ's, but I suspect my way cool cars are snow banking shot is now ruined. As I think they are going around the cars too. Which is nice I guess, less work to get free.
