Unsurprisingly I'm working on the 4th of July. Every year I've worked at Wal-Mart I've worked on the 4th. However what is surprising is that I'm working during the day. So I can actually go watch fireworks if I want to. Which would be nice, rather then what I've done the last couple years which is hope to see fireworks over the trees on my drive home.

In other news my cat can be really stupid. She climbed behind the blinds on mom's window and then couldn't get back out. I'd been outside, and when I came back in I could hear her upstairs yowling pitifully. So I raised the blind and let her out. Was very amused.

For such little animals degus really do have long fur, not that it looks that long. They are shedding right now, Hephaestion looks kind of funny because her fur has shed out every where except her butt. So her fur is all one length, then it suddenly gets longer. Squeaker seems to have all ready finished shedding.

I'm going to miss the little fur balls when I sell them.
