Mar. 6th, 2006 12:06 amAhahahaha Navy boy liked the movie I picked more then he liked the movie he picked.
We saw 16 Blocks (his pick) and Tristan and Isolde (my pick). Yay for movie double header. Neither of us had ever done that before. As I was putting the tickets away I realized I went the entire move of Feb. without going to the movies, that must be some sort of record for me.
So yeah 16 Blocks dragged on and confused me, and I didn't care about the people in it that much.
Tristan and Isolde captivated me a lot more. I called several key things well before they happened, but the story, the premises isn't exactly a new one. And it had, in my mind, much more in common with parts of the King Arthur legend then it did with Romeo and Juliet. Way way more.
Even with folding up arm rests, movie theater seats aren't good for cuddling in. Which sucks.
I was going to kiss dear Navy boy, on the cheek, when he dropped me off. But I chickened out. I don't want to ruin what we have right now, and I'm a huge chicken.
If I could read minds this might be easier.
In other news the cat has a really bad case of cabin fever. Its probably from all the sun today. Should have put her out for awhile.
And my globe trotting, archaeologist, architect grandmother has decided she going to run for the state house of representatives. Mom doesn't think Maine's ready for her. She is, like all women on that side of the family, opinonated, pushy, loud, and always convinced she's right. Could be interesting.
My step-dad got his new toy running today, a back-hoe. He had lots of fun pulling trees out of the woods. I just wish he could have waited until a little later in the day to start the stupid thing up. Before 9 is not my friend. I'm a lazy bum and I know it.
Am going to apply to a couple jobs on-line tomorrow, er later today, after some sleep. They're both in Augusta, which is not really any farther then I was going to work at LL Bean. We shall see, because really I don't want to be reduced to working on my Aunt's blueberry farm. I'm not a real out doors person, and spending all day picking blueberrys, something I don't like, really doesn't seem like that much fun even if the pay is goodish.
