(no subject)

For some reason I have a vivid mental image of my guitar having an ugly blue strap. Which just seems wrong as the guitar itself is red and white. I check, the strap on the guitar is black. However the strap on my viola case is an ugly blue. Evidently my brain is combining the two in my head. The cross between a guitar and a viola, what the hell would that even look like?

me + the wood stove = no love

Stupid wood stove. It wasn't going when I got up, someone had tried to get it going, but didn't close it up properly and it went out. I can get a fire going in a fire pit outside, but in that wood stove its just not working. The tinder all burns up and the wood doesn't catch or the wind gusts down the chimney and puts it out, or it just hates me. No one who knows how to get the stupid thing going is going to be home for hours. Well dad'll be here before the others to visit on his way home, maybe he'll be able to help me with it.

Until then maybe the sun will stay out and warm the house up a little. *looks at the coulds moving in* Never mind.

Great Robin got over her fear of the degus and is now trying to bat at them through the cage. Which freaks Alexander out, since she's aiming for him, and that in turn gets everyone else all rilled up.
