I wish I had a better way then words to show you what its like outside right now. Its beautiful, but that doesn't really cover it.

The moon is so bright and clear. There are shadows being cast. The deck is a pattern of dark and light from the moon light filtering through the oak tree. The clouds are moving across the sky, temporarily dimming the moons brilliance. But even with clouds over it there is an amazing amount of light. The sky is dark blue, and you can see the color out the turning leaves just a little. The grass is a shadowy green. Everything is so calm and peaceful and quiet. I wish I could spend the whole night out there. The stars are out here and there over powered by the moon. And every so often as a cloud passes over a rainbow surrounds the moon, or at least thats what it looks like to me. The air is so crisp and clean. Its just so, I don't know I can't really think of the words. I'm resisting the urge to go out again for fear I wont be able to make myself come back in. It'll be cold later, it's probably what some people would call cold now.

I checked the temp. when I came in. My Mainer roots are showing. Its only like 40(F) out and I was only wearing a light jacket and didn't have any shoes on and was quite comfortable. Everyone should be able to experience a night like tonight at some point in their life. I just wish I'd had someone to share it with in person tonight. I called annikasevn but thats not the same.

The clouds have gotten heavier. It no longer looks like dawn. More like dusk. It's still incredibly light out, the clouds are diffusing the light so its the same every where.

What an amazing night.

I finally admitted defeat and got up. After spending more time laying in bed awake then I did asleep. This leaves me ready to face the day at the unheard of time of 7 am, on less then 3 hours of sleep. Hopefully I'll manage to pass out at some point later on in the day.

edit: ahahaha I think my cat is confused by my awakeness at this hour. She is sitting on the floor looking up at me with a wtf expression her little kitty face. Is amusing. or maybe not, it might just be the sleep deprivation talking.

Okay my DVD player is driving me nuts. It used to play vcd's no problem. Now its not recognizing them, same for music cd's both burned and boughten. *kicks it*
My mom's DVD play which she's had since I was in high school plays all that no problem, I've had my DVD player less then 4 years. Stupid technology.
