My car doesn't like me right now. I went to start it up earlier and it wouldn't, didn't even make a noise, batter's dead. Evidently there is a short in the electrical system, one that didn't used to be there. And it wouldn't shift out of park. No idea what causes that, not sure how it fix it either. Damn, now I need to fix the staeering wheel so the horn doesn't go off all the time, fix the short and get it out of park. I hate this.

sorry to hear bout the problems on you car. I had to spend 110 to get parts for my nissan. Im getting a salvage title on it, but at least i can fix it up. As for the shifting from park, it sounds like a safely switch to me, my dads truck auto tranny did that once when the tranny went out, well it shifted into neutral and wound;t shift out.
