Man today really couldn't get much worse. My bother just stoped by and told me that Mom had my cat put down last weekend and didn't bother to tell me so I could go say good-bye. Robin was 22 1/2 years old. I'd had her since I was 9 or so, and I'm 25 now, so over half my life. I kind of feel like crying. Mom didn't even tell my brother she was doing it either, he got home from his gf's asked where the cat was and Mom was all, 'oh I had her put down.'

This sucks. A lot. I use my icon of her in memory.

RIP Robin you were a great cat.

it'd probably be worse if I wasn't looking at my new kitten who is right now eating peanut butter, but there will never be another cat like Robin and that makes me sad because she was a really amazing cat.

I'm so sorry to hear this. My cat back in WI is nearly 19 or 20, so I'm just waiting for this kind of call too.

If I lived far away it would be one thing, I'm only a 20 min. drive and Mom never bothered to call I only found out because my brother stopped by.

It sucks and I'm sad. I hope you don't get a call about your cat any time soon.
