Note to self: not really playing any instrument in a long time, then trying to figure out how to play amazing grace on the guitar because it's one of your roommates favorite songs and she's had a bad day just leads to pain.
I'm guessing the very little amount of callouses I managed to develop in 9 years of playing the viola a lot and another 4 of playing it sporadically are gone. Not that I had any to begin with. At least I cheered the roommate up. And didn't manage to make myself bleed. Also my tiny palms make playing cords difficult. I have long fingers, but little palms, it's very weird.
In other news, this is late September right? Then why is it still over 70 in my room thus requiring me to put my window fan back in so I can cool the room off enough I can sleep.
