Okay and now umpteen hours after seeing PotC3 I must make more comments. But not actually about the movie, just the theater I saw it in. I went to the Strand. Which used to be an actual theater, and now belongs to the same guy as Narrow Gauge. So it's clean, classy and inexpensive. $6 got me in and bought me snacks. But beyond that. All three theaters at Strand have murals painted in them. They're very well done. And the one Pirates was in had a small sea port painted on the walls. And a ship sailing painted above the screen. Best place ever to see the movie. In my mind anyway. I'm sure it was an intentional choice. I'd never been in that particular theater before so it was a surprise.

I'll admit little things amuse me. That and it doesn't take much when I'm running on 5ish hours of sleep and a lot of Mt. Dew.
