psghayleauxSo Dad calls and asks if I want to go out to eat, sort of for my birthday. So I say sure and bring the present with me. Wish I'd said no or forgotten the present. Then I wouldn't had to have faked liking my present.
From Dad and the step-mother I got a large floppy black purse with giant greenish sequins on it. Inside it had a lime green stretch belt covered in lime green sequins. You can guess how much use either item will be getting. My step-grandmother gave me a manicure kit. Which wasn't so bad, but I've already got one that I only use the nail fill and clippers from. So I gave it to the roommate.
I know I know I shouldn't complain about presents. But hideous present I think I should be allowed to. Am considering asking people to stop buying me purses and belts, I don't use purses and I've got plenty of belts.
