Unsurprisingly I will not be watching a race with Navy boy today. As he put it "there are weird people at my parents house right now." And as he understandably wants to spend time with his parents we aren't going to watch it at my dads house. Oh well. Two movies tonight though. But this does now prove my hypothesis that we can't watch sports on TV together if its something we've planned to do.
So now I shall go back to reading the Complete Works of the Brothers Grimm. I think I'll have better luck with it then I did yesterdays reading choice. Insomnia by Stephen King. I made it 384 pages in and realize I didn't care, about the characters, about what was happening, anything. So I stopped, I don't care that in connects to the dark tower books, I just don't care about what happens. Mom can read it and tell me how it ends, not that I'm counting on her finishing it, she's also supposed to be reading Good Omens which I loaned her and she hasn't touched it since has officially been loaned.
It is bright and sunny out. And windy, but sun shine, yay. It's fairly warm out. I'm wearing a t-shirt and pretending its spring.
Finally filled out my Hannaford's application, found a couple places in the classifieds that sound like stuff I could do that I can apply to on-line. Maybe if I get sick of reading I'll do that.
