Jun. 11th, 2008 06:20 pmWent swimming after work. There is a pool at the farm. Let me tell you a swim after 7 hours in the hot sun feels damn good.
In other news I don't even want to know what the power bill for this month is going to be. We put up two AC units because we thought having 8 billion fans going probably used about as much electricity as the would. Plus AC units would do a much better job of keeping the house cool. To me this means the fans will be getting used only when the AC isn't running. I get home today and both AC units are running along with every fan in the house. *headdesk* This included the degu fan that I didn't feel need to be run so I didn't turn it on, and the chinchilla fan which I did leave running, but on low, when I got home she turned it up to high.
So when the roommate gets home we're going to have a talk and she's probably going to get mad at me for something. Implying she's an idiot or something random like that I'm sure.
