Oh Panic you amuse me. With your string quartet dressed in marching band costumes. So um...you need another viola? Cause I'd totally be willing to wear a marching band costume and play viola for you.

They played 9 in the Afternoon and I Write Sins. And were neither terrible nor excellent. It is however I think the first time I've seen them preform anything. Despite the wonder of the internet I've never seen them play before. How sad is that? I'm going to see them in concert in less than a month and I've never so much as watch a youtube clip.

On SNL I have this to say, you used to be funnier. I'm pretty sure anyway that you used to be funnier. Okay so part of it is that you reference things in the news and I avoided the news like the plague cause mostly it just makes me sad.

Meh I don't want to leave my cave, er room. It is nice here. Dad's house not so much. But I guess I better go. They wanted me to come over a little early I guess, plus you know, high speed internet \o/

I do however wish it was a little warmer looking out, or you know the sun was out.

Oh god, I'm on the cover of the arts and entertainment page today. *hides* This is what comes from photographers showing up when you're at a bar doing stupid things, in this case stupid means air guitar.

My birthday dinner went pretty well. Even though Dee's husband made reservations it still took us an hour to be seated. Possibly because there were like 9 of us. The food wasn't perfect, but it was a good time. Dee gave me two books wrapped in like hot guy wrapping paper. I'm not sure which I like better the paper or the books. :)

annikasevn showed up. Which was awesome. I knew she'd been invited, but I didn't figure she'd be able to make it, money is usually pretty tight for her. I sort of ended up ignoring everyone else to get caught back up with her. Oops. We're going to the movies tomorrow as well, so I'm getting some quality time in with her.

New!Girl was there with the kids she was baby sitting. The little boy sung me happy birthday but hid his face when I looked at him, it was very cute.

Dee told the waitress it was my birthday so I got sung to and got a free sunday which almost made up for the vague humiliation of having a bunch of random people sing at me.

edit: guy from work was invited to the party, and bought my dinner as my present, he just left me a myspace comment with a happy birthday thing that has Jack Sparrow, which is all fine and dandy, other than the whole calling me deary thing. Which had better just be that's the only one he could find cause yeah nice guy, but that's it just a nice guy I don't mind hanging out with.
