So I just finished reading Dead Beat, the seventh Dresden Files book and it has a zombie dinosaur in it. I was going to put that behind a cut, but it's not really giving anything away. Plus, zombie dinosaur, how cool is that?

So I really hope tomorrow I wake up 100% all better. What with the plans to go out Friday and Saturday night. And the fact that currently my body wants me to get about 3 more hours of sleep a night than I usually manage.

So I finally heard back from the guy at work I sort of asked out. He may or may not show up at the concert thing on Saturday. So I almost have a date?

I forgot the other interesting things about my day today. Mostly things that could get everyone I work with, including me, fired for sexual harassment. One of the tire changers was throwing around this ball bearing and I told him to stop playing with his ball. Then he asked if I wanted to play with his ball. I told him no, so at the urging of the other tire changer he then asked me if I'd play with them if he had two, I said no, I wasn't into balls. At which point the manager that was still there told us to cut it out.

Earlier the service manager looked at me and went "you know Gail, someday, if you get married, you're going to make your husband a very happy man. Every couple of months it'll be like waking up to a new woman." This was brought on by yet another discussion about why I dyed my hair orange, and some mild mocking about the fact I dyed my eyebrows too. Then after that statement he bumped fists with the store manager. Which was just wrong.

So yeah VIP is a place one works if one can take things like that with out flipping out and getting everyone fired. Also it's not usually that bad, but it was really slow. The weather hasn't improved enough for the do-it-yourself guys to start working on their cars again.

So the guy actually got back to me about Saturday. And he's going, so I guess I have a date. I'm considering it more of a getting to know you. Because other than a couple of myspace messages I've only ever talked to the guy at work.
