Well this could be fun

First snow storm at H's. And if the snow keeps up or gets worse I'm pretty much going to have to start shoveling now if I want to be able to get out of the yard at 3 so I can go to work. I kind of want to call in so I don't have to deal with it, but at the same time I need the money. Mostly I hope that one of the CSM's calls and tells me not to risk it. That did happen once this winter. As it turned out that day by the time I would have needed to go in it probably would have been fine. But still it was nice not to have to worry. I was called a little later in the day of that one so there is still hope. If I don't get called I'm probably going to try and make it in.

edit: okay I have a Lex attached to me. He is the friendlier of the two cats, but usually not this lovely. *continues to skritch loudly purring cat and hope he doesn't bite*

Okay so the roads are evidently very much with the not good. H just called and evidently their were people off the road all over the place when she went in this morning and the storm is supposed to be getting worse about the time I'd need to be heading in to work. Money is good, but is risking life and limb really worth going in for a shift that isn't even 6 hours long?

Okay that was really really weird. I just called in to say I wasn't coming in. Decided to ask for a CSM not management cause management never tells anyone I'm not coming in/running late. And I don't even know the CSM I talked with. Hope I put in the right store number. Cause that could be a problem. But I'm thinking that if I've managed to get the right number in while driving on slippery roads I should have been able to manage it while sitting still. Meh. The whole call in system is annoying anyway. But I've decided that I'd really rather not deal with the roads today. Not with it supposed to be getting worse.

Am probably going to spend the whole night freaking out that I called the wrong store somehow.

Okay so I called the right store, my brain just didn't interpret the name I was told right. And one of the other CSM's asked H. if I was alright because I'd never called in before. One would think bad weather would be a rather obvious reason for not going into work.
