Feel free to skip blather about morality on SG:A and The Pretender

Its kind of interesting to me how people in the SG:A fandom are all up in arms over the morality or lack there of of the characters this season and last. I haven't been all that bothered, its just a show. Then I sat down and watched some Pretender and figured out why I really don't care. I loved the Pretender when I was younger, and well Jarod tortures people, mostly just psychologically although sometimes he sets them up to be tortured by other peopl, pretty much ever episode. And lets not even get into what they did at the Center. They really did torture people, among other things So I'm quite used to liking characters and shows where morality doesn't even matter.
So all the people up in arms, have fun with it. I'll continue loving my shows were people do what they think is right rather then what society tells them is.

Sometimes its very easy to tell which of my parents knows me better. Today I am wearing a shortish black dress. Its nice looking but not real dressy. My dad saw me and thought I was going out somewhere. Mom saw me and thought nothing of it cause sometimes I just wear a dress for the hell of it.

While dad was here he told me about the race he was in last Thur. Sounds like he had a good time and he finished better then he did the first time he raced at Thunder Road. And he was all excited cause Ken Squire kept stopping at talking to him. Ken Squire used to be a Winston Cup announcer I believe so it was a pretty big deal for dad. And then on his way home he stopped at a gas station and Joe Bessy pumped his gas. Joe Bessy used to own and briefly drove a Winston Cup car. Yes I know its called something else now, but when he was involved with it thats what it was. He's out of racing now. When his wife found out dad lives in Farmington she got all excited cause they don't live to far from there. So it sounds like Joe may be out of racing but its not out of his system. It'd be cool if he ended up sponsoring or helping my dad. Probably wont happen, but you never know.

Also it is quite warm out. I wish my dresses was a little lighter weight. Now I shall go back to Pretender watching. The DVD I'm on right now has a couple places were it kind of freezes for a second then starts up again. Its a little annoying but I'm not sure if its annoying enough for me to want and try and exchange it for a different one.
