Oct. 24th, 2005 01:00 pmOkay so I'm like I will take the baby degus out of the cage for a bit, get the little boy out and put him on my shoulder. Get the little girl, put her on my other shoulder. She then promptly runs to the back of my neck and goes down my shirt, were she hangs out right between my shoulder blades for several minutes before I can get her out. That'll teach me to handle degus whilst wear stretchy shirts that can hold them in places they wouldn't normally be able to cling. I can still feel the fur and little claws on my back. *twitch*

Oct. 24th, 2005 04:35 pmHave finally figured out who's kicking food out of the dish. The baby that sits in the dish to eat. When there is fresh food, they climb in and dig around until finding something they like and this involves kicking most of it out. No wonder they always seem hungry, they don't get most of their food because the little fur ball is kicking all over the cage and the room they are in.
