Jul. 3rd, 2002 06:20 pmSurvived baby sitting, my cousins really not that bad. Wish his mother had remenbered to call me and tell me I could go swiming. I got to spend an hour and a half outside while my cousin was swiming. I am no deydrated and mildly sun burned. It was 102 were I was baby sitting and 99 here. Inside downstairs is 85 or warmer upstairs is 93 its cooler in the basment but there is no phone-jack down there so I'm down stairs instead of in my room upstairs. And its not going to get cooler the 70 tonight, so I may very well be sleeping in a tent tonight. And now my mothers got me looking up movie listings for the local theater so we can try and cool off, yes we don;t have AC anywhere in the house and the only fan was the one that died yesterday. Maybe I should go to dad's I believe there is now AC in my room now.

Jul. 3rd, 2002 10:41 pmWell I have a fan again, but its not my old fan, that was deader then my dad had time to fix. So he bought me a new one. Evidently it was one of the last fans in the area. Evitdently this heat wave has had people out buying them. Its a really cool fan, its retro, all silver stainless steal. Before I put the fan blade and housing on it looked rather like a blender without blades.
Earlier this evening we had, of all things, a tornado warning in effect, not for my area, but still this is Maine, we don't have tornato's or for that matter 100 degree days for more then one day in a row. The states just going to hell. I want to move somewhere cooler and without tornado's please.
